“I should have sent this a long time ago, but I guess better late than never! I have always felt that when people do good things, they need to hear it! I wanted to send a thank you regarding the exceptional dental work I received and continue to receive for myself and my family. I love the fact that my kids aren’t scared to go to the dentist, and my daughter actually enjoys it! I am also grateful for the cosmetic dental work that was done to my smile. I don’t look at pictures anymore and get frustrated. When I look at pictures, I actually think my teeth look really nice! That really means a lot to a person that couldn’t say that before. So, Thank You! You and your staff are AWESOME!”

“Following a visit, our 3 year old proclaimed, “I like those nice people!” We have had great care and service at Riverfront Dental. Our children actually like going for their dental visits.”

“I will always be grateful to Dr. Colling/staff for restoring my smile with implants after horrors of gum disease and tooth loss. His skill and gentleness have restored my smile and my opinion of dentists. Thank you all.”
- Pat Thompson
“Greet also the good doctor who healed me freely and all those nurses who are working with you kindly. I pray that God remember every thing that you and that doctor have done for me.”

Dear Grant, Jacki, Mary Ann and Everyone,
I am a former patient of yours who moved to Chaska, MN a little over a year ago. You will probably remember me because I have (had) teeth and gums that needed quite a lot of work.
Here in Chaska, I see a larger establishment and have seen two dentists there. It’s sort of a case of whoever is available, it seems. They don’t have the full-service setup that you have (or possibly the knowledge that Dr. Colling has), and so for my potential periodontal issues they refer me to a place called Periodontal Associates (“The Dental Specialists” … you would think that any dentist would be a dental specialist) in Edina, where I see a dentist, who, I should say, seems to know his stuff, at least concerning periodontal matters.
Now bear in mind that my teeth and gum tissue are doing quite well, and that on my last visit I had no bleeding and on my last measurement I had maybe three 4′s and no 5′s.
But I’ve been meaning to let you know of my appreciation for your dental office and of the personnel there, especially Dr. Colling, with whose dental artistry I am able to dazzle my newfound caregivers, and of course Jacki, whose coaching on the proper hygienic techniques enables me to present a pleasant surprise to my current hygienists, in the lack of work they encounter when I open my mouth (not counting the infamous staining, though that isn’t quite as bad as it used to be). And I owe it to the both of them that my gum tissue is going well. Be assured that I wear my splint every night.
There is however, one complaint I have about the care you provided me: it seems I am now spoiled. The equipment you have … the chairs, the lighting, the pneumatic devices the video, everything … is more modern and of higher quality than anything I’ve seen down here. Moreover, the whole office environment you have is better decorated and warmer looking, and I never appreciated how clean everything was until I saw otherwise.
Plus, imagine my disappointment when, at the end of my first visit, and subsequently, I am offered what looks like the cheapest, no-name toothbrush they could find. This, after I was used to Jacki offering a choice of three high-quality brushes of different designs, plus my choice of types of floss. And as for being able to pick your flavor of polish or fluoride? Not gonna happen. In addition, you charge less for everything.
So I hope this hasn’t been too over-the-top, but I just wanted to express my appreciation for your practice and to offer some encouragement to keep up the good work.
It’s unfortunate that in your type business, the customers have a tendency to focus just on themselves and are not likely to have their eyes open to the efforts and attention to detail that are required to make them feel as comfortable as possible, plus provide them with high-quality care. I’ve been guilty of that myself, and for that, I apologize.
I wish you continued success. You deserve it.
